Baklava Recipe
Preheat oven to 350 degrees F (175 degrees C).
First Melt butter.
Butter the bottoms and sides of a 9x13 inch pan.
Chop nuts and Pistachios with cinnamon. Set aside.
Unroll phyllo dough. Cut the whole stack in half to fit pan. Phyllo dough dries out really fast. Cover Phyllo with a dampened cloth to keep from drying out as you work.
The first layer is 8 sheets :
Place one sheet of dough in the pan, butter thoroughly. repeat until you have 8 sheets layered. Sprinkle 2 -3 tablespoons of nut mix on top.
The 2 nd, 3 rd, 4 earth layers are 5 sheets:
Each sheet of dough grease with butter thoroughly. Between layers sprinkle 2-3 tablespoons of nut mix.
